How to Teach Kids About Money

Learn how to raise money smart kids!

Financial Literacy volunteer, Kyla Lam, will discuss why teaching kids about money is important and provide some ideas on how to do this at an age appropriate level. This session will cover allowance, budgeting, credit cards, cell phone and virtual spending. The presentation is interactive and will be approximately 90 minutes depending on audience participation. There will be additional tools and resources provided as well as a Q&A at the end of a session.

CPA Canada is working to address the growing social problem of a lack of financial literacy in Canada. The Mission of the Financial Literacy Program is to deliver unbiased, objective financial literacy education and information to Canadians to improve the overall state of financial literacy in Canada. College of the Rockies is pleased to partner with CPA Canada to offer this  virtual seminar free of charge.
